to think about...

Do you like your life today? 

Right now, and I mean right now, I think you ought to write down what you like about your life today. Go on, on the left hand side write things that excite you, that make you want to get out of bed in the morning, things that you would want to continue with. 

Now write down what you want to lose from your life, all those things that make you angry, fed up and want to cuddle up under the duvet with a box of chocolate and a jar of peanut butter – or is that just me? 

Now write down what you want to achieve, what you want to attract into your life, what you want to experience and what would bring you joy.

Next contemplate these three lists, look at them and discuss them with your friends if you want to, but take your time. 

Last thing – write down the name of the person who is preventing you from achieving all of your wishes?

 

Hopefully you put your own name down! If you didn’t stop blaming anyone else and accept responsibility for your own actions. 

You have to begin small on this one, and let things grow from habit and slow programming of that subconscious of yours. Things like time are a good test; when you say you will finish a piece of work at ten o’clock, have it done by nine. 

When you say you will meet a friend to discuss something that is going on in their life, be there at the appointed time and place.  

When you say you won’t have any dessert at dinner tonight – don’t. 

 If you agree to meet a mate at the gym, go and actually join in that class. 
 
You are beginning to make a pact with the most important person in your life, that would be yourself of course, by doing this you begin to realise that the only person you are letting down is you – and we don’t want that.

Life is a matter of choice, not a matter of luck.
